Who lives in Bologna and has a smartphone or a tablet from today can signal the presence of litter and rubbish left in the street, bulky and presumably other dangerous or unpleasant situations for citizenship. This will be possible thanks to the “Rifiutologo“(waste-hunter), a free downloadable app from the Apple Store or Android Market.
A new app will help people to be more aware of the cleanliness and safety of their city.
The app essentially helps to make a collection of the waste emergency and differentiate. It will be possible to take a picture of the identified wastes and send it to the environmental services of multi-utility Bologna. Every citizen can now become “guardian” of urban quality and safety of his city, actively participating in the care of the urban environment. The app also has a web version. In the coming months, the service will be extended to other cities of Emilia and part of the Marche.
