We make two qualities of Gavi D.O.C.G and of Barbera: Gavi Classico and Gavi Pisé, which is left on the lees for six months, Barbera Piemonte and Barbera Largé, which is aged in barrique for 18 months and continues to age well in the bottle.

2008 La Raia Gavi wines are now BIO SUISSE certified
Both Gavi grapes and the 2008 La Raia wines are Bio Suisse approved. Bio Suisse trademark certifies the biological agriculture in Swiss.

La Raia is now Demeter certified
The grapes from our 2007 harvest were Demeter certified and our wine labels will bear the Demeter trademark from March next year. The Demeter trademark certifies that our products are farmed using biodynamic agriculture and is globally synonymous with biodynamic agriculture.
