La Raia is a family run estate, certified by Demeter since 2007. In the heart of the hills of Gavi, we produce two kinds of Gavi D.O.C.G. Classic Gavi and Gavi Pisé (left on lees for 12 months), and two kinds of Barbera, Piemonte Barbera and Barbera Largé (aged in barrique for 18 months and suitable for cellaring).

La Raia is partner of Triennale Design Museum
La Raia is now partner of Triennale Design Museum, offering its wine at the openings of the Design Cafe' exhibitions. The first one, starting on 13 September, will be dedicated to Ugo La Pietra: a beautiful series of ceramics devoted to Italian regions.

Our commitment to sustainable and environmental friendly farming practises is acknowledged - Gavi DOCG Pisé 2008 is awarded with « Eccellenza » from « Vini d’Italia 2011 » - the wine guide of L’Espresso magazine. Moreover, with the highest score 18,5/20, our Gavi Pisé is the best Gavi of the year!

Also in 2010 La Raia is awarded “La Chicciola” of Slow Wine. This symbol is attributed to a selected group of estates (only 160 in Italy!) that have an approach to winemaking and farming that is coherent with the ideals of Slow Food.
