Locanda La Raia is just a walk away from the farm: strolling on the art path among the vineyards you can admire our site-specific works made by international artists.

Once you have reached the wine cellar, made in raw earth by Austrian architect Mr. Martin Rauch, taste La Raia biodynamic wines and Tenuta Cucco organic wines.

The Wine Tour

The Wine Tour at La Raia starts from our products’ origin, the vineyards: over 45 hectares of perfectly exposed limestone soil, biodynamically cultivated. The tour continues in the wine raw earth cellar for an explanation on the wine-making techniques and a tasting of our wines.

The restaurant

Gavi’s traditional cuisine, historically contaminated by elements from Liguria and Piedmont, has been revised in the menu signed by Michelin-awarded chef Tommaso Arrigoni.

The art path

Enjoy the site-specific works made by international artists for Fondazione La Raia in the estate’s vineyards, woods and fields.

Events

The Locanda used to be an ancient mail station for travellers that went from Piedmont to the sea in the past. Now, thanks to a complete restoration that has enhanced the large common areas and re-designed the gardens that surround it, it has become the perfect place for small groups that wish to enjoy our care, privacy and our services’ quality.
